HISTORY AND ORIGIN OF HALLOWEEN..

Origins

What we know today as Halloween or Halloween is celebrated are over 3000 years by the Celts, a warlike people who inhabited parts of Ireland, England, Scotland and France. Just 31 October, the Celts celebrated the end of the year with Samhain, a pagan festival. With European immigration to the United States, especially the Irish Catholics in 1846, came the tradition of Halloween to America. When it comes to Halloween or Halloween costume you think, make up, party, sweets and children, but tradition says that its conclusion was not always festive and cheerful, and the rites that were practiced during the night were of a and religious cleansing.

Anthem to the Virgin of Chiquinquirá..

CORO
Gloria A ti, Casta Señora
de mi pueblo bravo y fuerte
que en la vida y en la muerte
ama y lucha, canta y ora

                                                      I                                               II

Autóctona Virgen
de rostro bronceado,
mi lago encantado
te exorna los pies
con rizos y ondas
de armónico halago
y reina del lago
ye digan doquier

Bruñeron tus sienes
con lirios plasmadas
ígneas llamaradas
de eterno brillar,
por eso mi tierra
que el trópico inflama
del sol te proclama
la reina inmortal

III
La entraña fecunda
del suelo nativo
por ti fluya un vivo
tesoro sin fin,
ribera y llano
lagunas y sierra,
reina de mi tierra
te llamen a ti.

IV
Y porque mi casta
florezca en virtudes
tus excelsitudes
proclame la grey
reina de mi tribu
llamándote, en tanto
la dicha o el llanto
nos colmen. Amén

My favorite part:

Y porque mi casta
florezca en virtudes
tus excelsitudes
proclame la grey
reina de mi tribu
llamándote, en tanto
la dicha o el llanto
nos colmen. Amén

Beat it ...

[Verse 1]
They Told Him Don't You Ever Come Around Here
Don't Wanna See Your Face, You Better Disappear
The Fire's In Their Eyes And Their Words Are Really Clear
So Beat It, Just Beat It

[Verse 2]
You Better Run, You Better Do What You Can
Don't Wanna See No Blood, Don't Be A Macho Man
You Wanna Be Tough, Better Do What You Can
So Beat It, But You Wanna Be Bad

[Chorus]
Just Beat It, Beat It, Beat It, Beat It
No One Wants To Be Defeated
Showin' How Funky Strong Is Your Fighter
It Doesn't Matter Who's Wrong Or Right
Just Beat It, Beat It
Just Beat It, Beat It
Just Beat It, Beat It
Just Beat It, Beat It

[Verse 3]
They're Out To Get You, Better Leave While You Can
Don't Wanna Be A Boy, You Wanna Be A Man
You Wanna Stay Alive, Better Do What You Can
So Beat It, Just Beat It

[Verse 4]
You Have To Show Them That You're Really Not Scared
You're Playin' With Your Life, This Ain't No Truth Or Dare
They'll Kick You, Then They Beat You,
Then They'll Tell You It's Fair
So Beat It, But You Wanna Be Bad

[Chorus]
Just Beat It, Beat It, Beat It, Beat It
