What we know today as Halloween or Halloween is celebrated are over 3000 years by the Celts, a warlike people who inhabited parts of Ireland, England, Scotland and France. Just 31 October, the Celts celebrated the end of the year with Samhain, a pagan festival. With European immigration to the United States, especially the Irish Catholics in 1846, came the tradition of Halloween to America.
